Cosmopolis by Don DeLillo
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I did not see the movie, and the only role I can tolerate Robert Pattinson is when he is playing Cedric Diggory - and I still gave this book a chance! It is nothing spectacular & still OK, there are some twists and turns to the story that stand out, brandishing good memorable extrapolations and achieving time-limited suspense through writing. For me thou, it lacks something, imperceptible but noticeable. And if you will ask me what it is, I won't be able to answer you straight away; it might be the lacking of the experience of the realness of it. lack of grounding in the story, or something completely different.
