My Acoustic Nemesis: Life Before, During, and After an Acoustic Neuroma by Russell K Holden
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This was an amazing book. It was a quick read and not really complicated, but as a person who is hearing impaired, it was great to see such a personal account of another person's journey. I might not have the same condition, but I do relate to the challenges quite a bit, and it was great to take time and explore this book. Another great addition, in my opinion, is the color. It is a lot easier for me to personalize my reading when color is incorporated into the story. I think it might be useful for people to read this book not only for research (as I did) but just for enjoyment as the positivity between the lines is quite contagious!
