Review: Look Down: He Struck Down Terrorists But Not His Inner Demons

Look Down: He Struck Down Terrorists But Not His Inner Demons Look Down: He Struck Down Terrorists But Not His Inner Demons by G. Ernest Smith
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this book through the post just when I was flying out to take care of some business in another country and I had nothing to read through the flights. I was so happy to pack this book last to my suitcase and could not wait to start reading it as I really liked the cover art. And it was glorious! I will not revile any plot points, not to spoil it for anyone who will decide to read it, but there are some things that I can still note. The world building is very compact but gives the reader a good outlook and helps in story immersion. Character building is not the focal point of the story but you still have enough time to familiarise yourself with the people in the story and their possible motivations. Story paising differs throughout the story, but it is very much plot driven and never feels too much. So, if you like me need to read something on a long flight or just have time for a good sci-fi, give this book a change, I hope it will not disappoint.
